Friday, August 30
- Pearl Street Stampedes are starting up again! These are fun for the whole family. Come out and cheer on the CU Buffs, listen to band music, and get merry. Starts at 7pm in from of the Boulder County Court House.
- Friday Storytime at the Main Boulder Library. Come listen to stories. Free. 10:15am.
- Boulder Creek Hometown Festival starts tonight. this hometown celebration features over 100 arts & crafts exhibitors in Central Park and on the Boulder Public Library lawn along the creek, great live performances at the Bandshell, an interactive Sports & Kids Expo, the 4th Annual Family Fun & Fitness 5K, food court & beer garden, the infamous Chili Inferno Cook-Off, Classic Car Show, and an entire children’s area with carnival rides and exhibitors, the Great Zucchini Race, Big Wheel 300 races, and much more! Friday 7 to 9pm, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Saturday, August 31
- Boulder Outdoor Cinema presents The Big Lebowski. Find this fun outdoor theater experience happening in the parking lot behind the Tea House just off of 13th street. Gates open at 7pm, a band starts at 7:30pm and the movie starts at dusk. This is a fun, family-friendly Boulder event.
- Boulder Creek Hometown Festival. This hometown celebration features over 100 arts & crafts exhibitors in Central Park and on the Boulder Public Library lawn along the creek, great live performances at the Bandshell, an interactive Sports & Kids Expo, the 4th Annual Family Fun & Fitness 5K, food court & beer garden, the infamous Chili Inferno Cook-Off, Classic Car Show, and an entire children’s area with carnival rides and exhibitors, the Great Zucchini Race, Big Wheel 300 races, and much more! Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
- Boulder Farmer’s Market. Meet your farmers, do some artwork, get some lunch. There is always so much going on at the market! 8:00am to 2:00pm.
- FREE Day at BMoCA. Join them all day to delight in their exhibits or stop by during the Farmer’s Market for a fun kids craft.
Sunday, September 1
- FREE Day at the Boulder History Museum.
- Boulder Creek Hometown Festival. - Go Club for Kids & Teens. Learn to play the ancient and mysterious board game known as Go. Developed 4000 years ago in China, the rules are so simple they can be taught in a few minutes–but it can take a lifetime to master the game. Go boards are provided and take-home sets made of cardboard are available for free. Ages 5 and up.

- Free Day at the Children’s Museum of Denver. Note this event is 4 to 8pm.
- Bilingual Storytime at the Main Boulder Library. This ongoing storytime engages native and non-native Spanish speaking children. 10:15am.
- TEBO Train on Pearl Street Mall. Free. 10:00am to 11:15am.
Wednesday, September 4
- LEGO Story Club at the George Reynolds Branch Library. Do you like LEGOs? Do you like stories? Then you’ll love LEGO club! We start by reading stories, then build lego creations based on the story theme. If you’re a great LEGO builder, or a first timer, this is the place for you. 4 to 5:30pm.
- Boulder Farmer’s Market. Meet your farmers, buy some veggies, get some dinner, listen to live music and even have a beer. There is always so much going on at the market and it’s not as crowded as Saturdays, so it’s great for families! 4:00 to 8:00pm.
- FREE Night at BMoCA. Join them all day to delight in their exhibits. 4 to 8pm.
- Kids Eat FREE tonight at Wahoo’s!
Thursday, September 5
