Friday, June 15
- Louisville Town Faire. Live music, excellent food, children’s activities, quality art & crafts are all at the Faire. Go listen to CJ Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band playing live [6:30 to 9:00ish]. All ages. Ongoing event. Free. Rain or shine. 5:00 to 10:00pm.
- Children’s Storytime at the Main Library. 10:15 to 11:00am. Free. Ongoing activity.
- French/English Storytime with Marie [I love her!] at the Main Library. 10:15 to 11:00. Free. Ongoing activity on the 1st/3rd Friday of the month.
- Noon Tunes on Pearl Street Mall. Join Swing Je T’aime for live music and jam on the Mall. Kids love this event!
Saturday, June 16
- Airport Day at Boulder Airport. This is a family friendly event with lots for the family to do. 9:00am to 3:00pm. @ noon there will be a parachute demo. All ages. Free.
- Tropical Birds of Boulder with OSMP. Why fly to Belize or Costa Rica when their birds will come to us? Join naturalist Dave Sutherland for an easy hike into a local birding hot-spot to search for colorful migratory song birds newly arrived from the steamy jungles south of the border. Birdwatchers of all abilities welcome. 7:30 to 10:30am.
- Home Depot Kids’ Workshops. Kids can create a project of their own on the 1st/3rd Saturdays of the month. Mornings.
- Shepard Valley Waldorf School presents: Farm FaRe
- Boulder History Museum Family Day: Mining. Noon to 4:00pm. Free with museum entry.
- Children’s Storytime at the Main Library. All ages. Free. 10:15 to 11:00am. Ongoing activity.
- Boulder Farmer’s Market. 8:00 to 2:00pm. 13th Street between Arapahoe & Canyon Blvd. Great opportunity for families to purchase locally grown produce, eat delicious food, listen to live music and so much more! A Boulder kids’ favorite.
- Boulder Museum of Contemporary Arts [BMOCA] Check out Art Stop which provides FREE guided art activities for kids on Saturdays during the Farmer’s Market. I have heard that they have a space where you can throw a cup at the wall. Kids love it! 8:00am to 2:00pm. All ages
Sunday, June 17
- Denver Museum of Nature and Science FREE DAY. All day. Free entry.
- Go Club for Kids & Teens at the Main Boulder Library. 2:00 to 5:30pm. Ages 5 and up. Free. “Learn to play the ancient and mysterious game of Go.”
Monday, June 18
- Rise and Shine Storytime @ Barnes & Noble. 9:30am. Don’t forget the fun train table!
- Children’s Storytime at the Main Boulder Library. 10:15 to 11:00am.
- No Meadow Music this week.
Tuesday, June 19
- Lap Babies at the Main Boulder Library. Babies up to 12 months explore books & stories with their caregivers. 10:15 to 11:00am. No older children, please! Free. Ongoing activity.
- Read to the Dog. Children 5 to 12 can schedule a time to read to Cooper a therapy dog. Please call ahead to schedule a time slot at 303.441.3099. 10:30 to 11:45. Free.
- Lego Mania: 20 minute workshops. “From blobs to bricks” 2:00 and 4:00 at the Main Boulder Library.

- Earth, Air, Fire, and Water – Story Hour and Kid’s Hike
Join OSMP naturalist at the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage for a story hour exploring earth, air, fire, and water and all the good they bring. Afterwards a kid-friendly “Four Elements” hike to touch the ground, feel the wind, feel the effects of fire, and, if we’re lucky, find running water. 2 to 6 year olds. 1:00 to 2:00pm. - Lego Mania: Cogs and Clockwork Presentation. Boulder Main Library. All ages. 2:00pm.
