Friday, June 22
- Children’s Storytime at the Main Library. 10:15 to 11:00am. Free. Ongoing activity.
- Family Game Night at Meadows Library. 4:00 to 5:45pm. All ages. Free.
- Noon Tunes on Pearl Street Mall. Continuum playing. Live music and jam on the Mall. Kids love this event!
Saturday, June 23
- FamilyDance Planet. Come dance and play with the whole family! 9:30 to noon at the Avalon Ballroom. All ages. Purchase tickets.
- Little Bikes on the Prairie with City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks.
Celebrate Boulder’s Walk and Bike month with an easy family mountain bike trip along South Boulder Creek trail. Cycle slowly through rare tallgrass prairie and stop frequently to explore the creek. Bring bike helmets (required) and bikes that are ready to ride! Tag-alongs, trail-a-bikes, trailers and bike baby seats are welcome to get everyone out! Meet at the Bobolink Trailhead. Ages 6 and up. 10:00 to noon. Free. - Children’s Storytime at the Main Library. All ages. Free. 10:15 to 11:00am. Ongoing activity.
- Boulder Farmer’s Market. 8:00 to 2:00pm. 13th Street between Arapahoe & Canyon Blvd. Great opportunity for families to purchase locally grown produce, eat delicious food, listen to live music and so much more! A Boulder kids’ favorite.
- Boulder Museum of Contemporary Arts [BMOCA] Check out Art Stop which provides FREE guided art activities for kids on Saturdays during the Farmer’s Market. I have heard that they have a space where you can throw a cup at the wall. Kids love it! 8:00am to 2:00pm. All ages
Sunday, June 24
- Barnyard Critter Day. Come join Boulder County and spend a day at the farm! We invite you to have fun and learn about domestic animals and even wildlife found on the farm. There will be demos, animals, and educational activities. 10:00 to 4:00 at the Agricultural Heritage Center. All ages. Free.
- Celebrate National Log Cabin Day! with a Grandrabbits Playdate. Join Grandrabbits and play with this classic toy at our Lincoln Log Station. All ages. 11:00 to 5:00pm. Free.
- Nature For Kids & Parents. Take a journey to May’s Point while exploring “special places.” We will go on an adventure hunt using an explorer’s guide filled with fun activities! Meet at the Flagstaff Nature Center on the summit of Flagstaff Mountain. Ages 6+. Free. 1:00 to 3:00pm.
- Ballet In The Park with the Boulder Ballet. This family-friendly repertoire concert features excerpts from the season along with new works, in classical and contemporary styles. Come early with a picnic and enjoy a beautiful summer evening with the ballet. All ages. Free. 7:00 to 8:00pm.
- Go Club for Kids & Teens at the Main Boulder Library. 2:00 to 5:30pm. Ages 5 and up. Free. “Learn to play the ancient and mysterious game of Go.”
Monday, June 25
- Rise and Shine Storytime @ Barnes & Noble. 9:30am. Don’t forget the fun train table!

- Grandrabbits Playdate: Fish Friends. Boulder store. Ages 2 to 6. Free. 10:30 to 11:15am.
- Magician Week: Featuring Erica Sodos @ Boulder Public Library. Let her engage and entertain your family. Main Boulder Library. 11:00am. Free. All ages.
- Meadow Music. This is a treat for families and includes live music and nature education. Consider bringing a picnic and enjoy the show. Ages 2 to 8 [but all ages are welcome!]. 5:30 to 6:45pm at Chautauqua.
Tuesday, June 26
- Lap Babies at the Main Boulder Library. Babies up to 12 months explore books & stories with their caregivers. 10:15 to 11:00am. No older children, please! Free. Ongoing activity.
- Celebrate & Explore Colorado Water with the BPL, OSMP, City of Boulder Watershed and Boulder County. Begin with Storytime at 10:15 in the Children’s Library. Then head out to Boulder Creek for hands-on learning about insects, plants and animals in and around Boulder Creek. 10:15 to 12:00. All ages. Free.
- Dance for Children [and the Whole Family]! Participatory dance program for children of all ages and their parents! A fun way to learn dances from around the world, find out what young folks like in other countries. Outside on the Plaza beside the Dushanbe Teahouse, 1770 13th (between Arapahoe & Canyon) in Boulder. Free. All ages. 6:15 to 7:00pm.
- Magician Week: Eddie Goldstein and the Magical Math and Science Show. Let her engage and entertain your family. Main Boulder Library. 7:00pm. Free. All ages.
